Almas Designing Tips In Four Easy Steps

Want to use our lighting in your yard but need help figuring out where to start? Don’t worry; we are here to help; here’s a guide to help you achieve a great lighting plan.

1. Backyard Design

A beautifully lit and ambient backyard starts with a great lighting plan. Lighting up patios, plants, trees, and pools is a great focal point to add a dramatic and mood-enhancing effect.

2. Accents

A beautiful lighting plan is all about choices in accents. First, consider which backyard elements you want to highlight at night and evaluate each fixture's purpose. For instance, uplights can be a great choice to beam light upwards on trees, while downlights can illuminate light downwards to create a moonlight effect and enhance social gatherings.

3. Type of Light

Each landscaping light fixture is available in particular colour temperatures. First, determine which type of lighting is required depending on the layout of your backyard. LED fixtures come in various colours, including warm, pure, and bright white. Alternate from bright lighting to subtle lighting, depending on the mood you want to achieve. Overall the final effect will produce an elegant lighting effect to help enlarge your backyard and home.

4. Fixtures

The last and final step involves choosing the right fixture. Each fixture solves a purpose since there are various beam spreads to tailor light where it is needed most. Need inspiration? Have a look at our website for the best ways to use our fixtures.
